Jonas should had passed away when he was 14 years old. I was supposed to go to the movies with him and his dad who used to own WINZ am radio station had just purchased a sea plane. Jonas and I had plans to go to the movies and he called me to cancel as he said he was going to go up in the plane with his dad instead. I was furious and argued my case. I finally won and we went to the movies. When we came out of the Surf Theater on Collins Ave we saw the Coast Guard helicopters flying overhead. Jonas said something must have happened. It had his father had crashed into the ocean at 82nd street and was killed. Jonas was safe with me. He lived another 44 years because I was a good debater. I was not close to him after we got into high school.
If anyone knows where his two sisters are let me know. I only know the first names, Meridith the older one and Fern the youngest child. I found out Fern had passed away wrote her husband and he never responded.
