Philippa Feldman 1942-2026

Philippa (Sissy) Feldman  born October 29,1942, in Brooklyn New York to Tanya Bang and Edward Wein, passed away peacefully at the age of 83 on January 13, 2026, after a long and brutal illness. She is survived by her husband of 61 years,  Michael Kenneth Feldman, daughter Elizabeth Abby and husband Gerod Eric Van der Vugt, grandchildren Zachary, Jake and Olivia; and son Andrew Ezra Feldman and wife Lisa Levinson Feldman, and grandchildren; Sydney and Max, sister Connie Parrish and huband Billy Parrisn, chidren Brian and Blake. 

She received a bachelor"s and master's degree in education from the University of Miami and was a teacher, educator, and administrator. Director of early childhood and ultimately principal of Temple Emanuel Lehrman Day School of Miami Beach.

Raised in Miami Beach she was, with her husband, a proud graduate of the 1960 class of Miami Beach High School. An elegant skier, an advanced open water scuba diver and an accomplished blue water sailor. She was an all-around amazing woman,wife and mother. Loved by all who knew her.  She will be missed as a cool breeze on a summer day or the warming sun in the fading afternoon light.
